2:00 90-minute Listening Session (Community Room)
Engagify: Several national agency staff persons are joining SOLT for this conference to lead plenaries, teach workshops, and share resources and ideas. During this session, they will facilitate small group conversations to listen for how energy and energy renewal between individuals, congregations, mid councils, and national agencies are aligned and/or obstructed. We want to become better aligned partners energizing each other in ministry for the sake of God’s king/kin-dom on earth as in heaven.

Here are the questions they will be asking. Feel free to start thinking ahead!

  • What possibilities and challenges are energizing the congregation or presbytery you serve right now?
  • Where do you experience robust, vital connection and energy exchange between the congregations or presbytery you serve and national PC(USA) agencies? Where could the connection be better, more generative?
  • In response to the 2016 General Assembly, since 2019 PMA has been inviting the church to develop a Matthew 25 focus with the core priorities of Building Congregational Vitality, Eradicating Systemic Poverty, and Dismantling Structural Racism. How is this energizing your congregation/ presbytery/ synod?  What would you like to see more of / less of?
