SOLT is looking forward to launching two new coaching initiatives later this year. We don’t have dates set, but want to start a list of those who are interested. If you would like to learn more, please fill out the form below.
The Synod of Lincoln Trails is gathering dynamic and promising leaders from our eight presbyteries for annual coaching summit. SOLT will help you and your peers experience the multiple benefits of coaching. At the SOLT Coaching Summit, you will increase your capacity for leadership. You will level up your imagination, energy, and grit. You will gain “ah-ha!” moments of clarity and insight — from each other and from our master coaches. Our facilitators will create an experiential dive into coaching, and demonstrate how being coached can radically change your ministry and help you bring the dreams for your congregation and/or specialized ministry community into reality. They will help you identify and claim a stronger sense of possibility in your present and future leadership, and remind you whom the Spirit is calling you to be. You will leave with a more focused and dynamic sense of call, new colleagues and friends, and the beginning of an action plan to get more of the results you’ve wanted from yourself as a leader and as a human. In the six months following the SOLT Coaching Summit, you will receive six individual coaching sessions (via Zoom) with an International Coach Federation-certified coach who has been selected for you. These sessions are between coach and client, meaning that they are fully confidential. You will choose the topic(s) of your coaching sessions.
Retirement Small Group Coaching
This coaching is for pastors (ordained Ministers of Word and Sacrament and/or commissioned: CLPs/CREs). We are giving preference to people who have retired within the last 18 months and those who are planning to retire before the end of 2023.
